The de Havilland Vixen is a twin boom, twin-engined 1950s–1960s British two-seat jet fighter, designed by de Havilland. Developed from an earlier first generation jet fighter. It was one of the first British fighters to be able to achieve supersonic speed...and yes, it did use aircraft grade ply for some of its external shaping!
