George Miller: Film Director
The greatest film director to walk the earth...Mr George miller.
Over the years, George has graced us with his limitless directing talents, exciting us with his images and storytelling. His mastery of his craft has brought us the spectacle of Mad Max. But his talents are so diverse that he has also brought home an Oscar for the loveable film Happy Feet, among so many others.
George commissioned 2 pairs of Airframes. The pair you can see here have Walnut Burl fronts and arms. Frames and arms are also reinforced with carbon fibre.
Working with George to create these was an incredible experience that I will remember always. George told me that they are such a beautiful piece of art, that he felt they should be mounted and put on display.
Shane and Simon: DZ Deathrays
2 time ARIA Heavy Metal winners and all time rock wizards...The DZ Deathrays
These fella's needed some serious Carbon Fibre Wayfarer styles to protect their delicate eyes from any random deathrays emitted from their awesomeness. One pair at 140mm and the other at 145 for a perfect fit. D's and Z's on the end of the arms are 'next-level'.
Simon wrote:"Airframes are first-class right down to the leather and timber case they come in. Made with stunning precision and an eye for detail they come off as instant classics with a twist. We are totally stoked with our new shades and working with Rosco was a blast!"

Matt Hoyle of Matt Hoyle Pictures
Matt Hoyle...High-flyer and photographer to the stars was looking for a new "Ice breaker", so we set off to make something really special. Being a photographer in Manhattan, every choice that you make with your appearance is interpreted by people.
Matt was looking for classical and stylish with a touch of wild side. We settled on this classic shape with Black dyed Ash veneer on the front and red hand dyed sides, back and arms. The creme de la creme is the SLR camera silhouettes on the end of each arm.
Matt wrote. "I am Speechless. They truly are beautiful dude. The finish and detail makes me giddy and I put them on earlier sans lenses and yelled to my wife "these are the best pair of glasses I've ever had or even seen!" Thank you once again."
Brian Ritchie of The Violent Femmes
Brian wrote. "The sunglasses made their way to sunny Spain in fine condition. They are a work of art and I am touched that you went to all that effort. I'll send some pics later but in the meantime here's their live debut."

Brian liked a pair of orange Vampires I had made for a colleague. Brian asked me to design something like them, but wilder! I designed something I thought he would love, by looking at pairs that he has worn in the past. Brian was in the middle of a world tour, so I assumed I needed to make the design process as easy as possible for him. I gave him some unique designs with a number of variations that he could incorporate. Everything went smooth as silk. Here he is rocking the stage in his Airframes named "Blister in the Sun". I am so proud.
